• Geneseo Guest – Unencrypted, for guests; traffic can be intercepted.

• gPlay – For gaming consoles and streaming devices that can’t join Eduroam.

Basic Steps to Connect your Laptop to eduroam

• Use eduroam 

  • Windows 11/10

  • macOS

• Enter your Geneseo credentials

• Accept certificates

• Set eduroam to be your preferred network

Connecting to the campus wireless network conserves data usage and enables faster downloads. We recommend connecting your device to the eduroam network. This secure option saves your credentials, eliminating the need to log in each time you access your device.
