Removing Student Registration Holds

Advisors will need to remove the student’s PreGrad check and Advising holds before the start of Registration.

  1. Go to my.geneseo.edu .

  2. Search for Student Advising Profile.

  3. Click the link:

  4. On the search page, find the student with the hold. (Note that the “View Profile” button will be disabled until you select a student AND click outside the Student ID box.)

  5. Once you’re in the Student Profile screen, click the “Holds” field in the top right corner. This will give you the option to remove the hold.

  6. Check the checkbox.

  7. The Release button will become enabled.

    1. Click the Release button.
