WordPress Logging In and Dashboard

This article will help you login and familiarize you with the WordPress dashboard.

With a block-based editor, you can easily create pages with dozens of layout options.

Getting Started with Wordpress  

Logging into WordPress

  • At the bottom of each Geneseo web page, there is a link to Web Editor Login.

  • Alternatively you can bookmark https://www.geneseo.edu/wp-admin
  • Click on the Login with Geneseo Account  button to access Geneseo’s login.
  • Enter the same credentials that you use for your Geneseo email account and click the Login button.

 

Dashboard

The Dashboard is the central hub for managing your sites. All sites are part of the same dashboard.

Left Sidebar Admin Menu

Dashboard – Home view and quick access to all the Geneseo website.

Media – Upload, view, and manage files.

Pages – Create or edit web pages.

Faculty Profiles – Update or create faculty pages.

Department News

Menu– Customize your site menu.
