Sending a Single Message to Multiple Recipients

Gmail

Gmail's sending limits are generous enough to accommodate most needs. Geneseo Gmail accounts can send a message to up to 2000 Geneseo.edu recipients.

Be very sure you are using the BCC field. BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy and ensures that recipients cannot see other recipients. If you add recipients to the To or CC fields, any recipient who performs reply-all will send their message to all recipients of your message.

Google Groups

Google Groups is a popular solution for repeated communication with a large recipient list.

Sending Customized Messages

GMAIL

Gmail's mail merge feature lets you send personalized emails to up to 1,500 recipients each day. This option does not have tracking.

Mailmeteor

Mailmeteor is used to send and track personalized emails. Mailmeteor enables you to send up to 500 emails from each email account. Your email quota resets 24 hours after your most recent campaign.
