This article will walk you through the steps to create an alias in Gmail for use in Mailmeteor.
Step 1: Configure your alias in Gmail

Open Gmail in your web browser.

Go to Settings (gear icon) > See all settings.

Click the Accounts and Import tab.

Under "Send mail as", click Add another email address.

Enter the desired name and the email address of your alias, then click Next Step, and Send verification.

Check the inbox of the alias for the verification email and click the confirmation link.
Step 2: Add the alias as a sender in Mailmeteor

Sign in to the Mailmeteor Dashboard.

Navigate to your Account settings, then select the Senders tab.

Click on Add sender.

Enter the exact same name and email address you used in the Gmail settings, and click Save.

In the "email services" section next to the new sender, click Enable and follow the prompts to configure it with the Gmail service.

Ensure the sender is set to "active".
Step 3: Select the alias in Google Sheets

Open your Google Sheet with your contact list.

Launch the Mailmeteor add-on by navigating to Extensions > Mailmeteor > Open Mailmeteor.

In the Mailmeteor sidebar (or campaign configuration screen), locate the From: field.

Click the small caret symbol (▼) next to your primary email address and select the newly added alias from the dropdown list.

You can now use this alias to send your mail merge campaigns directly from Google Sheets.
