Determining Last Date of Attendance

This article walks faculty members through the process of determining the last date of attendance for a student who has withdrawn from a Brightspace course. If you need the last date of attendance for a student who has withdrawn from a Brightspace course, please email brightspace@geneseo.edu

Steps

To determine the last date of attendance for a user in Brightspace you will:

  1. Access the course in question and select Roster from the blue navigation bar

  2. Once in the resulting Classlist page, select the Enrollment Statistics button near the top of the page

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Withdrawals section

  4. Locate the student in question.

    1. Look to the right to see the last date of course access.

    2. Use the context menu, to the right of a learner's name, to view grades and attendance data (if applicable)
